The Australian Polio Register

Whilst we know you have registered with Polio SA, we would like to take this opportunity during polio awareness month to remind our members to complete the Australian Polio Register.

The Australian Polio Register was established by Polio Australia in October 2010 to gather information on the numbers of polio survivors living in Australia today, whether or not they contracted polio in this country.

There are currently over 3,000 people on the register, but it is estimated that over 400,000 Australian's survived the deadly virus last century, so it is important to check if you are registered, as the larger the register the louder we can remind people that "We're Still Here".
